Hyatt opens in Clearwater

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa has become just the second luxury property in more than 25 years to open on Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Hyatt’s first waterfront resort on the Sunshine State’s west coast, the four-star property is inspired by a “classic yet contemporary West Indies style” and is the centrepiece of Beach Walk, a new $30-million revitalization project featuring a half-mile active pathway for shopping, dining and entertainment.

The hotel is made up of 250 de-luxe, one- and two-bedroom suites featuring Hyatt Grand Beds, 42-inch flat screen televisions, full kitchens and private balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There is also a spa, 24-hour Hyatt StayFit Gym, Camp Hyatt kids’ programme, pool deck with 20 air-conditioned cabanas and a children’s pool.
