Let the Potter magic begin

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park has opened in Florida.
Launched by Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry in the film series, co-stars Rupert Grint and Michael Gambon, plus author JK Rowling were among the first to enter the town of Hogsmead within the Universal Islands of Adventure Park in Orlando.

Attractions include stores from the films such as Zonko’s joke shop and Honeydukes sweet shop, plus a reproduction Hogwarts.  There are three rides including Harry Potter And The Forbidden Journey, which takes guests on a flight through Harry’s life.  Souvenirs available include broomsticks and magic wands.
