Orlando has plenty of variations on a theme in 2010

Orlando has plenty more to offer visitors looking for new reasons to visit its theme parks in 2010.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be unveiled at Islands of Adventure Theme Park, Universal Studios, Orlando, this spring.

Featuring two main areas - the village of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts castle - the 20-acre ‘theme park within a theme park’ will enable visitors to experience scenes from the books and movies.

New at SeaWorld is the Manta roller coaster, which is inspired by the underwater flight of these powerful creatures. It spins riders face down in a horizontal position underneath the belly of the rollercoaster train shaped like a giant Manta Ray.

With a wingspan of 12 feet, the giant Manta soars over the sea and sky.

Other key recent additions include the Aquatica water park and American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
