TrekAmerica min-adventures begin

The first of TrekAmerica’s Mini Adventures, Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon, launched on April 27.

The new concept tour, designed to provide travellers with a taste of a TrekAmerica tour on an abbreviated short break, will run alongside its regular tours (ranging from seven to 64 days in length).
 
The four-day trip, priced from £339 pp, included a Hollywood highlights tour, with Rodeo Drive, Mann’s Chinese Theatre and a chance to get up close to the Hollywood sign, before leaving LA behind to head across the Mojave Desert. Clients camp out under the stars on the first night of the trip at Lake Havasu, home to the original London Bridge.

Two more Mini Adventures departing from New York and Las Vegas, are due to launch this month (May 2010).
