Sun Country puts Midwest in reach

Sun Country Airlines is to offer direct flights from London-Gatwick to the twin cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul from May 28.

The twice-weekly service to the Midwest will take UK travellers straight to Bloomington’s Mall of America, which features over 520 shops, 50 restaurants, Nickelodeon Universe, Underwater Adventures Aquarium and other family attractions. There is no sales tax on clothing and shoes.

Prices for the flights, which will run through September 3 2011, will start from just £322 one-way (plus taxes and fees). Five-day travel packages to Minnesota are also available through sister company Sun Country Vacations.
