TrekAmerica cooks up new business

TrekAmerica is aiming to capitalise on the publicity given to the US by Jamie Oliver’s latest culinary TV programme.

Oliver’s new Channel 4 American Road Trip has raised the profile on the US as he journeys across the states to discover the real heart of America through its people, landscapes, culture, music and food.

The celebrity chef’s route takes him from California, through Arizona to Louisiana, into the Deep South and northwards to New York.

Travellers inspired to follow in his tracks can do so on TrekAmerica’s Southern Sun road trip, a 21-day coast-to-coast adventure between Los Angles and New York (or in the reverse direction), with departures throughout October priced from £1,059 per person.
