World's first combined aloft and elements

Opening in July 2009 the 142-room aloft and 147-room element will be joined on the property they share in Linthicum, Maryland.

The hotels, both owned by W hotels offer customers a completely different experience. The aloft has an urban contemporary feel and features loft-like nine-foot ceilings and oversized windows to create a bright and spacious feeling.

Element offers customers an extended stay option with smart design and natural touches.

A new aloft hotel has opened near Washington Dulles International Airport, Virginia.
