Holiday Inn re-branding hits 600
The Holiday Inn Chicago O’Hare Area has become the 600th re-launched Holiday Inn hotel in the world.
Located minutes away from Chicago O’Hare International Airport, the 245-room hotel boasts modern décor throughout the lobby and guestrooms. The property is located near many popular Chicago attractions including The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Allstate Arena, Rosemont Theater, McCormick Place Convention Center, Millennium Park, Water Tower Place, Navy Pier, Grant Park, Wrigley Field, U.S. Cellular Field, United Center, Sears Tower, and Magnificent Mile shopping.
Meanwhile, two new Holiday Inn Expresses have opened in the two most popular states for UK visitors, Florida and California.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando-Ocoee East is the third Holiday Inn Express to open in the Orlando area this year and marks the fourth property in the market to showcase the brand’s new sign.
The new signs outside all four hotels reflect the $1 billion Holiday Inn brand relaunch programme which was established to create a more contemporary brand image as part of the drive to increase quality and consistency across the global portfolio. The programme focuses on arrival and welcome services, guestroom, and guest bath comfort. The global estate of more than 3,200 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express properties is expected to be re-launched by the end of 2010.
In California, the new-build 101-room Holiday Inn Express and Suites Napa Valley-American Canyon, is the 18th Holiday Inn Express hotel in California to showcase the brand’s new sign.
The hotel is just a short drive away from downtown Napa, with its restaurants, boutique shops and Victorian homes and more than 350 wineries and numerous championship golf courses are also nearby.
Standard Holiday Inn Express hotel guest rooms feature comfortable queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair and an in-room coffee machine.
