Continental guarantees hotel rates

Continental Airlines is now guaranteeing the best hotel deals for hotels booked on its website at continental.com/uk If a lower rate is found on a different website for the same dates and room type, within 24 hours of making the booking, Continental will match it and pay an extra 10 per cent of the price difference.

The offer applies to over 43,000 hotels worldwide that are marked ‘Best Rate’ on continental.com/uk. If the lower rate on another travel website can be verified, a refund will be provided within three business days. Terms and conditions apply.

For example, on continental.com/uk a three-night stay in a double room at the luxurious four-star Grand Hyatt New York in Midtown Manhattan from Friday April 24 to Monday April 27 costs around £190 per person for two people sharing(based on an early March exchange rate).

Continental operates flights to its New York hub, Newark Liberty International Airport, from Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London/Heathrow and Manchester, as well as from Heathrow to Houston and, on a seasonal basis, Cleveland – offering non-stop trans-Atlantic service from more cities in the U.K. than any other airline.
