San Francisco guide puts Bay City in reach

AGENTS should pick up a copy of the San Francisco Visitors Planning Guide. Published by the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau, the free, 202-page guide has more than 1,300 listings on accommodations, sightseeing, attractions, shopping, restaurants and transportation in the city.

New features this year include highlights of what to see in Golden Gate Park, tips for taking public transit and suggestions for laidback Sunday exploring.

Foldout maps of the city and the Greater Bay Area and a calendar of events for the rest of this year are also included. The new issue also has advice on how to get to and from San Francisco International Airport, some ‘save vs. splurge’ dining tips and special section on the wine country offering guidance on wine tasting, wine and food pairings, brief overviews of Northern California’s major wine regions, and a calendar of wine country events.
