Newport Beach opens UK office

MICHELLE Peden is the new director of travel industry sales, UK and Ireland, for the Newport Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau.

She will head the California destination’s first-ever international office for the destination, with a brief to work with high-end tour operators throughout the UK and Ireland, integrating Newport Beach into California-based travel packages.

Newport Beach is located along the Pacific Ocean in Orange County, just 50 miles south of Los Angeles, with a year-round Mediterranean climate.

It is known for its championship golf courses, waterfront restaurants, beaches, designer shopping and a wide variety of watersports and harbour activities.
